Successful Launch Attributed to Shift in Hiring Trends and Small Business Advantages
Newtown, PA (June 15, 2005)… Thomas-Matthew Associates, a technical staffing solutions firm, celebrates its first anniversary after achieving first-year sales of $500,000, a figure expected to quadruple for 2006. The Company attributes the successful launch to the application of sound business strategies, a shift in hiring trends and a market preference for the personal service provided by a smaller staffing firm.

Schneider has a tenured career in the staff augmentation and professional services industry. He has held various sales and management positions within the industry since 1994. Prior to starting Thomas-Matthew Associates, Karl was Director of Sales and Operations for a regional IT staffing firm.
“Some people thought it was crazy to start a staffing business when the market was still soft. But the market favors a business model like ours. One and two-person shops with low overhead can thrive even if the market is soft,” said Schneider. Sure there are risks. But the rewards clearly outweigh the risks.
